Directions to Prevention Institute:

Driving from San Francisco or Berkeley from I-80:

• Merge onto I-80 E (Bay Bridge)
• Take I-580 E toward CA-24/DOWNTOWN OAKLAND/HAYWARD-STOCKTON
• Merge onto I-980 W toward DOWNTOWN OAKLAND
• Take the JACKSON ST. exit
• Turn RIGHT onto JACKSON ST.
• Turn LEFT onto 3rd ST.
• Prevention Institute is located at 221 Oak St. (at the intersection of 3rd and Oak streets)

Driving from the South Bay:

• Merge onto I-880 N
• Take the OAK STREET exit toward LAKESIDE DR.
• Turn LEFT onto OAK ST.
• Prevention Institute is located at 221 Oak St. (at the intersection of 3rd and Oak streets)

BART, then walking (~5 block walk):

• Take BART to LAKE MERRITT station (at 800 Maddison Street, Oakland)
• Walk down MADDISON ST. toward 8th ST.
• Turn LEFT onto 5th ST.
• Turn RIGHT onto OAK ST.
• Prevention Institute is located at 221 Oak St. (at the intersection of 3rd and Oak streets)

Ferry from San Francisco, then walking (~ 10 block walk):

• The ferry arrives and departs daily from Oakland's Jack London Sqare  (click here for ferry schedule)
• From Jack London Square, walk up WASHINGTON ST. toward Embarcadero Way
• Turn RIGHT onto 2nd ST.
• Turn LEFT onto OAK ST.
